About us

SEON is a joint effort of the University of Zurich (Remote Sensing Laboratories), University of Fribourg (Alpine Cryosphere and Geomorphology), EAWAG (Aquatic Physics), EMPA (Air Pollution), ETH (Grassland and Crop Sciences), with contributions from ETH (Soil and Terrestrial Environmental Physics) and Agroscope Tänikon-Reckenholz.

SEON is financed by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SBF) and ETH-Board as a Cooperation and Innovation Project (KIP) initiated by the Swiss University Conference (SUK).
